Tracking your laptop
Using sophisticated geolocation positioning technology, Snuko can pin-point your computer´s location to within 10 to 20 meters which is viewable on a Google map image.
IP Logs Tracking
Generates IP log tracking data which provides important information regarding the exact network/s that your computer has been connected to after being reported as lost. This will allow law enforcement agencies to identify the ISP (Internet Service Provider) for those networks, who can then be asked to disclose the personal information of the person registered at that address.
Data Backup
From the minute you install Snuko Anti Theft software, it will immediately begin the process of backing up your important data to secure remote servers. Easily configure which files to include as well as the frequency of these regular, automated backups. You never have to worry about losing any data again!
Computer Lockdown
After reporting your device as lost/stolen Snuko will track it, encrypt its data and finally lock it down. If the computer is switched back on, the thief will be presented with a Lock screen displaying a message that it has been reported as lost by the owner. A password (which you would have set during installation) will be required to log back in. Should you recover your computer, simply report it as found from your online account to automatically unlock it.
Webcam Pictures
Secretly takes pictures of the thief using your computer´s webcam allowing you to identify exactly who is using it. This information will be very useful to authorities in gaining a successful conviction.
Screenshot Images
Snuko silently takes desktop screenshots of the thief activities. Use these images to identify any personal information entered by the thief (i.e. email addresses, bank account details, social network profiles, etc) during their use of your computer.
Data Encryption
Unlike most competitors, Snuko utilises automatic data encryption to protect your information. Mobile Dashboard
Should your computer go missing, you can instantly access your Snuko account using the Remote Mobile Dashboard to report it as lost. This can be accessed either directly from the Snuko application on your Android/Blackberry or by typing “m.snuko.com” into the internet browser of your phone. For iPhone/iPad/iTouch users, Snuko now provides this capability through an application on the Apple App Store called “Find My PC” (free to download).
Finder Information Capture
This is an important feature which encourages and allows any person who finds your missing computer to submit their contact details so that you can easily get in touch with them to retrieve it. The Snuko lock screen that appears after you´ve reported your device as lost contains fields where they are prompted to enter their information.
Tamper Proof
Due to the nature of anti-theft software, Snuko has been specifically engineered to be tamper proof making it virtually impossible for unauthorised users to uninstall. This tamper proof technology allows the software to rebuild itself if any of its hidden components are altered or deleted. You won´t find Snuko listed in the Windows Add/Remove Applications list either so simply attempting to uninstall the software isn´t an option.
